This clip aired early in February 2009. Speaking as a mom whose daughter developed epilepsy since vaccination by Gardasil, this is one of the best news pieces to date on the subject. It references a comparison report of adverse events between Gardasil and Menactra (the latter is a popular meningitis vaccine for the same age group yet is approved for boys). I recommend visiting www.nvic.org for more information. Please note, the FDA recently directed Merck to update the warning on Gardasil's packaging to include tonic clonic movements and seizure-like episodes.
